		<description>Yes, I think smartphones are built to a price and don&#039;t have the best hardware.  That&#039;s why a dedicated GPS unit is better in a number of ways.  However the connectivity of a phone makes it more convenient.</description>

		<description>Apparently Samsung smartphones have poor GPS chips and so aren&#039;t the best.  The HTC range apparently have a GPS issue that is fixable with an update.  Certainly battery life is a big issue and I often revert to my old Nokia 5800 which runs the Trimble Geocaching app - works well with geocaching.com&#039;s website and database and runs the battery down more slowly! My One X is good for a couple of hours at best with low light settings.</description>
