There are a lot of geocaches out there that are not much more than plastic trash!

Maybe it's because a some geocachers don't have the skills or the right attitudes to put out high quality geocaches.

So this site contains a lot of resources to help you get more out of geocaching.

Let us know if there is anything that you need to know that you can't find here.

  2. I was wondering if this site actually posts any caches. From what I see, it seems to be more of a forum for holier-than-thou geocaching snobs. There are many, many people (especially kids) who enjoy just getting out a bit and doing a little hunting for fun. Even if it is a micro, an “LPC,” or just a regular old plastic box. I’ve traveled in many countries and climbed many mountains, but I don’t deride people who don’t do these things. There are plenty of ways to filter your searches so you can decide which caches are suited for you. Personally, I like “high quality” geocaches that involve adventure and skill. However, a retiree with his grandkids might prefer poking around in a nearby park even if it only means another plastic keychain.
